Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner’s budget is a blueprint for a growing city while planning for the future and protecting the things that we know and love.

We have a clean and green city that more and more people are choosing to call home. A growing city is good for our economy, but we need to protect and enhance a lifestyle that’s envied around the world.

At the centre of our lifestyle are over 2,100 parks spread across the city, open green space and protected fauna habitats.

We also have to provide for the future needs of residents, with public transport initiatives like the Brisbane Metro and major infrastructure improvements like the Kingsford Smith Drive project, which is already underway.

The Schrinner administration continues to responsibly manage the city’s budget while building infrastructure, enhancing parks and open spaces and protecting our lifestyle.
